Recommended for those who work with lampwork or hot glass in small pieces.
These lampworking glasses FitProtek, have a durable and lightweight frame that can be used as a fitover or regular glasses made of high-quality plastic.
The FitProtek lampworking glasses feature rubberized temple bars.
This polycarbonate is very efficient in filtering sodium flare in addition to providing good ultraviolet protection.
It is very comfortable for viewing under high ambient light conditions such as when working with glowing heat sources for a duration of time.
Also, although it has a relatively low luminous transmission of 38%, it is not recommended for glassworking where Infrared protection is needed. This filter is more for soft glass usage
